Do new tires need wheel balancing?

Yes. Every newly mounted tire should be balanced to prevent vibration and uneven wear. Balancing is included in our mount and balance price, starting from $120.

Do I need an alignment after installing new tires?

An alignment is recommended with new tires, especially if your old tires wore unevenly or the car pulls to one side. A wheel alignment at SM Auto is $120.

Why does my steering wheel shake after a tire change?

Shaking at highway speed after a tire change is usually caused by wheels that are out of balance or lug nuts that weren't torqued evenly. It can also be a bent rim or a damaged tire. Drive in and we'll check and balance the wheels.

Can you repair a leaking or flat tire?

Yes. We repair flat and leaking tires when the damage is in a safely repairable area of the tread. Sidewall damage means the tire needs to be replaced.

Do you service TPMS sensors?
